The perfect team is made up of a group of unique individuals that each have something special to offer.

Billy & Marva

Billy & Marva Craft, Owners

"Bad Billy" & "Mad Marva" are the masterminds behind this whole business!  In 1981, Craftco was started in Billy and Marva's garage as a "one man, one woman" welding shop.  In 1986, they made the move to a new facility and added machining capabilities to their portfolio of services.  In 1993, the Crafts purchased a piece of property at the Sheridan County Airport and built a built a brand new facility which is their home today.  You can still find Billy working in the shop office daily!

Jeff Garrelts, General Manager

Jeff has been employed at Craftco for 9 years and has been in the steel fab & manufacturing industry for 13 years.  He has been attending the School of Hard Knocks, but is enrolling to complete his degree online.  Not only does Jeff possess skills for being a great manager he is also the authority on pumpkin growing.  His goal is to grow a 1,000 pound pumpkin, to date he has only achieved an 870 pounder!

Dusty Evans, Weld/Fab Supervisor

Dusty has been around the block a few times in the 23 years he has been in the fabrication business.  He has completed a few college courses in his time and is currently a certified welding inspector. He has been the weld/fab supervisor at Craftco for 2 1/2 years.  Dusty has a beautiful wife and 3 children.  He is an avid outdoorsman,  hunter and shooter. His pride and joy are his 3 bird dogs and his 2 horses.

Chris Jackson, Account Representative

Chris started at Craftco in 2015, he brings 25 years of experience in the mining, gas, construction and power plant industries to the table.  His focus is establishing new accounts and working to maintain the existing ones.  Chris graduated from HS in Gillette and hasn't left. He and his wife have 4 adult children and are enjoying their grandchildren.  Chris loves the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, horseback trips and 4 wheeling...just about anything to get him out of the house!

JC Bevans, CAD Master

While being employed at Craftco for about 5 years, JC has more years of experience than he would like to mention or even admit.  JC is the premier CAD master and can take any idea or drawing and make it come to life!  JC enjoys snowmobiling, gaming and staying at home.

Niki Crackenberger, Compliance Manager

Niki’s official title is Compliance Manager, but she is also the HR Manager, Purchasing and Receiving Manager and Safety Manager.  She has been with Craftco for the past 15 months and prior to that worked as a Safety Specialist in the oil & gas industry for 12 years.  Most of her time is spent acquiring quotes for materials and tracking shipments.  She is likely the first face you will see when you come to Craftco.

Brenda Chilcott, Office Manager

Brenda has been employed at Craftco for over 11 years but brought 20+ years of experience in the accounting field. Don’t let the grey hair fool you though, she still has 40 years to reach her goal of being an ornery 85-year-old Office Manager. Born and raised in New England, the mountains were a welcome change of scenery. The smell of pine trees after a rain is one of her favorite scents.

Cheryl Sodergren, Marketing Assistant

Cheryl is one of the newest employees at Craftco. Cheryl has been a graphic artist for the past 14 years and is now helping Craftco grow!  She is often found wandering the shop with the camera so she can catch all the amazing and cool things we do here at Craftco and post about it on Facebook, Linked In and Twitter.  Cheryl enjoys making others smile and unlike Brenda, she has no gray hair (she refers to them as blondes).

Josh Sharp, Quotes & Estimates

Josh has been in the metal trades for 14 years.  He was born and raised in Sheridan and received a degree in welding before leaving the area.  He moved to Oregon where he worked into the position of program engineer for a large military supplier.  After growing tired of the city he moved back to Wyoming with his wife and daughter and joined the Craftco crew.  In his spare time he parties with his two girls and builds furniture out of the filthiest of materials, wood.
